Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Familiarize yourself with the beverage menu offerings, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation techniques. Make recommendations to guests based on their preferences and provide information about featured drinks and promotions.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, welcoming them to the bar, taking orders, and providing personalized service. Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure a positive and memorable experience.
- Promote featured cocktails, daily specials, and beverage promotions to increase sales and enhance the guest experience. Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage guests to try new drinks or premium options.
- Pay attention to detail in the presentation of drinks, including garnishes, glassware, and overall aesthetics. Ensure drinks are served promptly and at the correct temperature, maintaining quality and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including bar equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of beverages, ingredients, and supplies, and replenish as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, including checking identification, monitoring guest intoxication levels, and refusing service when necessary. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume bar or beach club environment.
- Proficiency in cocktail preparation, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of beverage trends, industry best practices, and local alcohol regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- TIPS certification or equivalent training in responsible alcohol service preferred.
- Outdoor work environment in a beach club setting, with exposure to sun, sand, and ocean breeze.
- Variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity, depending on location and season.
- Flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate peak business hours and special events.
- Fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, especially during peak hours and special events.

General work information
- Place of Employment: KUDO Hotel and Beach Club
- Working hours: 6 days a week/ 48 hrs. per week and earlier or later as needed.
- Day off as detailed below:
- Low season (May – October): 6 days a month.
- High season (November – April): 4 days a month.
